Skylands Music Academy envisions a community built around the arts which is valued and supported by all.
Since we began in 2022 it has been our mission to provide quality music instruction at no charge, removing cost as a barrier to access. Now, as we embark on our fourth year of providing these programs, we have expanded to include the Skylands Chorale for experienced adult singers. With about 40 members currently enrolled, we set our sights on the inaugural concert scheduled for Sunday, December 7 at 4:00 PM. We’re seeking community members, businesses, and organizations to help sustain the invaluable gift of music so that it is free for all who seek it to enjoy. Skylands Music is growing!
What began as an afterschool program for children and youth in 2022 has now expanded to include the Skylands Chorale for experienced adult singers ages 18 and up. In the future, we aspire to offer high school ensembles to continue to bridge the gap from youth to adulthood. We are so proud to offer all of our programs entirely free of charge, removing cost as a barrier to access.
